The Story
Groceries Apparel takes 'farm to closet' literally. Founded in Los Angeles, every piece is made in their own factory from organic and recycled fibers, then dyed using vegetables — avocado pits for blush pink, coffee grounds for earth tones, and indigo plants for blue. The name reflects their belief that clothes should be as clean as the food you eat. Zero toxins, zero plastic, all grown from the ground up.
Materials Philosophy
Groceries uses a proprietary blend of organic cotton and hemp they call their 'Grocery List' — fabrics that are grown without pesticides and processed without harmful chemicals. Their vegetable dyeing process uses food waste from Los Angeles restaurants and juiceries, creating a true circular system. Even their elastic is made from natural rubber instead of synthetic spandex.
